Tough times never last, tough people do. Stay focussed on your dreams and what you want to achieve in life, and stop at nothing to go get it.

Big Blue clothing & Smashbox make-up.
Who is your style icon and why?
I love Kiera Knightly & Cameron Diaz, they’re both tall ladies (just like me) and their style compliments their height so well.
What’s your guiltiest pleasure?
Listening to Opera & Classical music, also the odd Donut.
Who would play you in the film biopic of your life?
Sophia Vergara please… She’s my spirit animal.
What would the title of your autobiography be and why?
The Best of Vanes.
If you could raid anyone’s wardrobe, whose would it be?
Katy Perry.
Where is your favourite place in the world and what makes it so special?
Paternoster, Western Cape. It’s where I got married.
Where is your go-to eating spot in JHB?
Churchills in Melrose Arch, and also any Tashas.
What do you love most about JHB?
The thunderstorms at night, also the people are all so stylish.
Which artists/actors/personalities have influenced you the most?
I love authenticity, there are Afrikaans people like Karen Zoid and Christi Pangio who has been so inspirational.
What makes JHB ‘home’?
Definitely my friends and family living here, also Woolworths ;)
